Job Description
Collect data required for and prepare annual Tier II and TRI reports.  Enter and utilize data in EESOH-MIS data management system.  Provide assistance to multimedia and pollution prevention staff.  Analyze hazardous material inventories and SDSs to determine reportable chemicals under 303, 304, 311, 312, and 313.

Develop, document and annually update local EPCRA procedures.

Perform semi-annual regulatory review of any new military operation/training requirements that include potential impacts to the installation and how those impacts affect hazardous material use.

Liaison with Hazardous Materials Control Center, Logistics Readiness Center, DPW Supply, EPG and other tenant organizations to ensure hazardous material data integrity, complete inventories, and comprehensive SDSs.

Identify Garrison, tenant and contractor activities that should be providing hazardous material inventories and SDSs to support EPCRA reporting.

Perform annual site visits to verify hazardous material inventories.

Coordinate semi-annual submission of hazardous material inventories and SDSs.  Update EESOH-MIS and SDS databases.

Develop and maintain hazardous material inventory database and SDS management.

Coordinate range and munitions operations data and input into TRI-DDS munitions calculation tool.

Produce relevant exemption reports reporting status of all chemicals, exemptions applied, and justification for applicable exemptions.

Maintain administrative record that meets recordkeeping requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science or other related science.  U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to pass a background check for access to government systems.
OSHA 29 CFR HAZWOPER, RCRA, 8-hr DOT

Desired:

Previous EPCRA experience, Arizona hazardous material reporting, familiarity with EESOH-MIS, experience working with the military.
