Job Responsibilities

 

North Wind Solutions is currently seeking a Principal Management Analyst to support work under our Joint Staff Contract in Suffolk, VA.

 Job Summary: 

  • Provide financial management support at the Joint Staff Suffolk. 
  • Prepare, submit and track acquisition packages using the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) acquisition system. 
  • Coordinate required acquisition documentation for WLIF packages with financial personnel at various Combatant Commands, Services and Agencies. 
  • Prepare documentation for acquisition packages on an as-required basis. 
  • Review acquisition documentation for accuracy. Make corrections and adjustments to documentation as needed to ensure that it can be understood and approved by multiple reviewers / approvers throughout the process. 
  • Ensure all submitted acquisition packages prescribe to the contracting office’s Procurement Action Lead Times (PALT). 
  • Obtain estimated award timelines from contracting offices and ensure that they are consistent with the prescribed PALT. Document and report any issues to the government lead. 
  • Prepare de-obligation packages for old contracts / task orders, or as required by the program.
  • Prepare reports and inputs to briefings, monthly reviews, correspondence and other similar program documentation related to the overall program planning and management.
  • Assist with the development of program justification responses to budget calls.
  • Track obligations and expenditures. Ensure obligations and expenditures are meeting OSD benchmarks..
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Preferred BS/BA Degree
  • Preferred 5 years experience in accounting and Government Comptroller functions within DOD. 
  • Proficient in ALL MS Office Suites
  • SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
