Job Description
Provide H&S oversight as the Site Safety Officer.
5-10 years practical experience managing or leading H&S, preferably related to construction. 
Strong familiarity with common OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations.
Basic understanding of word processing skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must pass government background check.

Preferred Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Preferred completion of 30-hour OSHA Construction course (with card)
Preferred 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and current
Experience providing oversight to  high risk work activities, such as work at height requiring fall protection, excavations, etc.
Preferred familiarity supporting OSHA-regulated construction projects 
Preferred background working on USACE, DoD, and/or DOE projects
Familiar with developing and writing SOPs, JSAs, HASPs, APPs, SSHPs, etc.
Familiarity with reviewing and approving work controls measures for identified H&S hazards.
Familiarity with common OSHA regulations, performing or assisting with hazard assessments, performing basic industrial hygiene, incident investigation, working with common construction hazards and high risk safety hazards, good problem solving skills, ability to manage self and show reliability to assignments.
Willing to travel 20-40 % of the year, if called upon to cover projects outside the Idaho Falls area.
