Job Description
Exercise initiative and have a thorough knowledge of operations and governing regulations, policies, and procedures to properly conduct records management and document control duties  
Complete the necessary training (ADM-105, Records Coordinator Training Program) to become a certified Records Coordinator (RC) and meet all requirements to maintain certification

Perform Records Coordinator/Records Management duties in accordance with current established procedures and processes, to include but not limited to: 
     Records inventorying, scheduling, and dispositioning 

     Developing, revising, and reviewing the Records Inventory and Disposition Schedule(s) (RIDS) 

     Working with office personnel to assist with records management preparation and transfer of records to the WIPP Records Archive 
     Assisting with record retrievals

     Assisting with staff inquiries and training
Provide assistance/coordination with the established document revision and review processes

Assist with the assignment, logging, and tracking of document and procedure numbers

Process (create, maintain, etc.) files and records packages, in accordance with current established procedures and processes, including but not limited to:

    preparation and assembly of hardcopy files and record packages 

    scanning (PDF) and organizing files and records packages in 
    electronic folders and/or databases

    ensuring proper storage of active files/records packages

Assist with logging/tracking duties pertaining to various documents (Charters, Policies, documents, procedures, etc.)

Assist with tracking periodic reviews of documents, and drafting biennial and periodic review notifications for the signature

Other related duties that may occur
  • High school diploma or GED, three years of business experience and either an associate degree OR a total of six years of business experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in business office procedures, etiquette, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer software applications.
  • Possess the ability to organize documents. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound skills in written and oral communication is a must to complete requests.
  • Experience with records management.
