Job Description
North Wind Resource Consulting is looking for an Archaeological Technician to work in Southern Idaho.

Successful applicants will be in good physical condition and have experience performing daily archaeological fieldwork in a variety of field conditions. Essential skills include the ability to recognize and document precontact and historical period artifacts, features and or other cultural materials, ability to write detailed daily field notes, take photographs of artifacts and discoveries, and mapping discovery locations as that may be necessary. The ability to work independently on tasks under the direction of a crew chief or field director is essential to this position.
Qualifications
  • Ability to recognize and document precontact and historical period artifacts, features and or other cultural materials.
  • Ability to write detailed daily field notes, take photographs of artifacts and discoveries, and mapping discovery locations as that may be necessary.
  • Ability to sketch artifacts to scale desired but not required.
