Job Description

North Wind Infrastructure & Technology is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Alarm Monitor in Norfolk, VA.

Summary of Duties:

  • Monitor and execute site security checks on critical assets, restricted areas, communications facilities, and rear parking lot
  • Conduct security checks
  • Immediately assess the alarm situation, when an alarm sounds, the location will automatically display on the master monitor screen. If situation warrant response team, contact the CSO office during normal working hours and NSA base security afterhours.
  • Monitor Lenel Security system equipment for proper operation; check the monitoring station for current problems displayed; check the Digital Video Recorders (DVR) are online and functioning.
  • Account for all Keys and badges
  • Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors, and guests
  • IControl issue and maintain an electronic record of visits
  • Issue visitor badges
  • Retrieve temporary issued visitor’s badges at the end of the day


  • Education: High School
  • Required Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites. Prolonged standing required.
  • Security Access Requirements: Secret Clearance Required
