Job Description
The Payroll Specialist position will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Maintain, audit and quality check employee attendance records for compliance with established standards 
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records 
  • Ensure that weekly employee payroll processing is in compliance with federal and state laws 
  • Review payroll reports and timesheets for corrections before payroll transactions 
  • Ensure that employee payroll is processed accurately and timely
  • Oversee salary changes, compensations, deductions, bonus, vacations payouts, and benefit deductions for employees 
  • Prepare and file tax reports for multiple companies as required 
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely manner
  • Provide assorted reports to management team as requested 
  • Scan, file, & process records and other duties, as assigned
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or Business/Accounting certificate preferred.
Payroll Certification desirable.
Experience with California payroll highly desirable.
2+ years of employee payroll experience required.
