Job Description

Tariff Classification Expert

Possesses a minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment; knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) and expertise in tariff classification is preferred; must have B.A. or B.S. in business or engineering fields.  Leads multiple tasks and retains overall responsibility for performance including deliverables and contractual compliance.

Provides interface to customer stakeholders and leadership.

Identifies, acquires, and utilizes all resources to achieve project objectives. Establishes priorities task assignments and completion timelines. Ensures quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting project/client deadlines. Serves as the client liaison on all complex analysis and determinations. Performs a quality assurance role to ensure timely delivery of all specified deliverables, and compliance with government regulations, codes, policies and procedures.
