Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities 

  • Monitor personnel entering and leaving the building; provide information and assistance to employees, visitors and guests; controls, issues and maintain and electronic record of visits, reports malfunctions to the Security System Monitor.
  • Maintain the visitor management system, verify all personnel entering the facilities using the Badge and Common Access Card (CAC) for verification.
  • Issue visitor badges to individuals with official business.
  • Maintain an electronic daily report
  • Monitor Cameras
  • Report any unusual events and notify the On-Site Supervisor or NDU Security Office Personnel. 

Job Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • High school graduate or possess the equivalent GED.
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years (may be waived for veteran of military service and active duty military personnel).
  • Must be a US citizen and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to read and write in English reports effectively with factual data.
  • Physically capable to stand duty for the duration of shift.
