Job Description

North Wind Infrastructure and Technology is looking for a North East Project Engineer, based out of Morgantown, West Virginia.

The project engineer will support North Wind project managers in delivery of technical services to North Wind regional projects. The project engineer is responsible for understanding and documenting design requirements and ensuring that the design development is compliant with those requirements. The project engineer will also be responsible for identifying the schedule, estimating the budget to complete the scope, managing the performance of the work, and ensuring that communication occurs between the regional project managers and the engineering services team.

The project engineer is responsible for:

  • Completing the design planning and execution
  • Overseeing the design and other engineering tasks assigned to the engineering team
  • Ensuring that development of design elements and project deliverables are in compliance with project requirements and client expectations
  • Ensuring that Quality Assurance processes are implemented for design verification, review, and approval

The project engineer is responsible for project technical communications and serves as the primary point of contact with the North Wind Region engineering services and design development.

 

Qualifications

Engineering Degree required.


Professional Engineering license(s) in nearby states, with the ability to become licensed in other states using the NCEES process, required.

Candidates should have a minimum of 10 year’s experience with:

  • Facility design
  • Construction oversight
  • Working with applicable international building codes and other regulations

 

PMP, desirable along with good communication skills, technical writing, Engineering Proposal Development and Engineering / Construction cost estimating.
