Job Description

Seeking detail-oriented technical candidates to support project and task management, prepare planning documents and reports, direct field teams conducting site assessments, and interact with clients and regulatory agencies to develop successful solutions to project challenges. Apply regulatory scientific principles to assist clients in the following areas: environmental impact assessment and mitigation, site investigation, soil and groundwater remediation, wastewater conveyance and treatment, land management, waste management, and other environmental areas. Support the sampling of various media, field data collection activities including groundwater quality and GPS surveys, and support environmental drilling operations.

Provide scientific and technical guidance, support, coordination, and oversight to federal agencies, environmental programs, industry, and the public.
Communicate scientific and technical information to clients, regulators, and internal audiences through oral briefings, written documents, and formal meetings.
Diligent records research to support preparation of site closure and further-action documents.
Inspect facilities, programs, and historical information to evaluate operational effectiveness, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and assess for closure or further action. 
Direct Field activities and perform field work to collect soil, water, air, and other environmental samples.
Perform health and safety oversight and support to construction/demolition projects.
Collaborate with environmental scientists, geologists, chemists, planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, and other specialists. 
Assist with obtaining right of entries and applicable permits to conduct investigations.
Prepare, review, and update work plans and technical reports for a wide variety of customers. 
Evaluate analytical laboratory data and draw conclusions to make recommendations.
Coordinate with subcontractors to determine project schedules.
Arrange travel and logistics for projects.

Qualifications
Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills. 
Proficient computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products. 
Ability to perform field assignments as part of a team or independently.
Ability to utilize multiple word-processing and database applications including MS Office applications Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat,
etc.
Excellent proof-reading and writing skills
Training in OSHA HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR.
General knowledge of Industrial Hygiene instrumentation use and interpretation of results.  
Understanding of Industrial Hygiene and Safety issues as defined by the scope of work and associated Occupational Safety and
Health
performance requirements.  
Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions/schedules/procedures/task requirements, and handle multiple
priorities. 
Demonstrated ability to appropriately document survey and data collection results.
Demonstrated ability to use different levels of PPE (including respiratory protection).
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with field, management, contractor, client, and regulatory
representatives is essential.  
Ability to participate in physically demanding work while wearing personal protective equipment including respiratory protection. 
Medically qualified to wear a respirator, able to lift 30 pounds, and able to climb ladders. 
Experience working on drilling projects.
Experience in the following areas are also desired, but not necessarily required:toxicology, risk assessment, and Conceptual Site
Model receptor pathways.
