Job Description
General Function
Provides support efforts for Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Staff, and Executive staff.  They will assist in managing all aspects of project controls from the office to the field. Defines requirements, assists in generating proposals, monitors performance, negotiates terms and conditions and ensures compliance with contract requirements, applicable commercial or government regulations. Receives and creates work tickets from client, as well as managing ticket status. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create, update and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of: individual projects or task orders, changes to projects or task orders, RFI, shop drawings and submittal, matters involving quality controls, safety, financial performance, close-out and other aspects of the project(s) or task order(s)
Work with subject matter experts to create, review and process shop drawings and other submittals that are required to document the construction process
Assist in establishing, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedules utilizing scheduling software
Managing Trouble Ticket Creation
Processing all Travel Requests
Tracking client reimbursable Other Direct Cost (ODC) Requests
Manage or support the management processes by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, writing change orders and other related activities
Support the process of negotiating contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders including tracking materials delivery status to ensure timely arrival
Proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
Assist in ensuring that all aspects of the project are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements that govern the project and the community in which the project(s) takes place
Establish and maintain relationships with the owner, design professionals, building officials, local businesses, and emergency support
Provide timely and cordial interaction with supporting work groups, such as accounting, HR, ICS, etc.
Participate in management activities that are related to project closeout to ensure timely completion
Assist in tracking and submitting construction billings and cost codes including reviewing and coding invoices for payment
Assist in ensuring adherence to project budget and schedule

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. (or currently seeking)
Experience: 1 year relevant construction experience preferred.
Background Requirements:  Applicants are required to have REAL ID ACT compliant documentation at time of hire.

Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project)
