Job Description
North Wind Group is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to work as a key member of the North Wind pricing organization.

This position will work out of one of our Regional offices in Las Vegas, Morgantown, Knoxville, Idaho Falls, Salt Lake City, or Denver.

Under general supervision from the director of estimating, this position will be responsible for preparing cost/price proposals for a variety or facility/installation operations, professional services and environmental investigation/remediation contracts.

Leads cost volume response and works collaboratively with proposal team members in preparation of high-quality cost models, automated cost forms, and cost narratives, when appropriate; advocating necessary improvements and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and all relevant forms, representations, certifications, and applicable cost disclosure statement. 

Analyzes and develops pricing using RFP-provided information/estimates, pricing model, proposal structure, and pricing strategy for a variety of contract vehicles (e.g., Labor Hour, Cost Plus, Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price). 

Complies with corporate pricing policies, providing suggestions/recommendations for improvement. 

Understands and applies guidance/direction contained in: Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth-in-Negotiation Act (TINA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and DCMA and DCAA auditing principles. 

Able to analyze and provide alternative pricing scenarios for competitive and compliant pricing. 

Able to develop compliant cost narrative documents that are accurate and consistent.

Leads cost review meetings (internal and/or client), as appropriate. 

Coordinates and able to produce Excel-based cost forms (development, printing, copying, verifying).
Qualifications
 
Required:
Bachelor’s degree plus eight (8) years of related experience. 

Technical: 
Candidate must have understanding of the cost analysis process. Past experience with the preparation of successful price proposals (e.g., Labor Hour, Cost Plus, Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price) is preferred. Additionally, candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with MS Excel. 

Language: 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and other languages, as applicable) with a strong business background. 

Other: 
Work may be required after hours and on weekends, and sometimes on short notice. Must be willing and able to travel.

Ideal candidate will possess demonstrated capability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents on a variety of technical and non-technical topics. Must possess strong organization and project management/coordination skills; strong capability in the Microsoft Office suite; experience compiling, editing, proofing, and coordinating document production.

Desirable Skills:
Experience in developing pricing models & basis of estimate development for Facility/Installation Operations Contracts with be given extra consideration.

Experience with environmental investigations/remedial action contracts will be given extra consideration. 

Must be proficient in Microsoft excel. (3 – 5 years in developing workbooks with multiple spreadsheets, visible formula calculations). 

Must have strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Must have experience with most contract types (e.g. FFP, FFP LOE, FPIF, CPAF, CPFF, T&M, etc.)

Must have a working knowledge of the service contract act (SCA) and collective bargaining agreements (CBA).

Security Access Requirements:
Applicant must be able to access secured government installations throughout the CONUS and OCONUS.
Applicant must have Federal Government Contracting experience.
