Job Description

North Wind Solutions is currently seeking Project Controls personnel to work in Albuquerque, NM.


Responsibilities include:

  • Provides input on the development and implementation of the project controls program.
  • Perform controls work in the areas of scope, scheduling, cost and earned value management.
  • Ability to develop life cycle scope estimates in support of the client’s life cycle plan.
  • Ability to work with and develop responses to DOE, DOD, NNSA.
  • Coordinate proposal efforts for scheduling activities as well as all duties related to scheduling.
  • Ability to collect data and produce all reports as required.
  • Ability to perform all types of related analysis as necessary.
  • Ensure proper cost control tracking and cost accounting for project cost and work scope alignment.
  • Prepare baseline change requests, and schedule corrections.
  • Knowledgeable in all facets of cost accounting, analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to assist the project management office and applicable programs/projects in the development of earned value methods and techniques.
  • Assist in the development of departmental earned value management procedures and guidelines.
  • Responsible for the collection of data, input updates and produce basic earned value management reports.
  • Ability to perform all facets of analysis including variances in performance, current trends, deviations to performance and impacts and the ability to recommend corrective actions when necessary.




  • Must be proficient in Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra, MS Office products

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field

  • 10 years of experience in a related field

  • DOE Q or L

  • DOD Secret or TS

  • Candidate who do not have an active clearance but have had one of the clearances specified within the last 24 months will be considered. Preference will be given to those with an active specified clearance.
