Job Description
North Wind Resource Consulting is looking for Archaeological Technicians to be responsible for pedestrian surveys, site documentation assistance to the Field Director; Excavation of Shovel Test Probes, screening and documentation; Excavation of controlled test units, screening and documentation. Provide own hand excavation tools and associated personal field equipment.
Qualifications
Required
Previous experience and skills in archaeological survey and excavation of pre-contract period sites to include documentation of excavation levels, mapping levels, profiles, and sediment description using North Wind forms.

Desired

Previous excavation experience in pre-contract/early contact period sites in central California Valley a plus. Experience and skills in field artifact identification, including faunal remains.
