Job Description
Employee will work in a crew of 2-3 people  to monitor vegetation and range health around the region. Successful applicant will manage all aspects of vegetation following NRCS's National Resources Inventory (NRI) methodology.
Applicants should have a degree in botany, range science, soil
science, biology, or a related field. Experience with identifying vegetation to species is essential for the position. Ability to work away from home for up to eight days at a time.

Familiarity with Database for Inventory, Monitoring, and Assessment (DIMA). College level soils class would be helpful. Knowledge of local flora and USDA plant codes.
