Job Responsibilities




Quality check, process, and maintain project records.  Maintain record archive and storage of hardcopy files via electronic data storage system.  Support users by performing database searches and file retrieval.  Serve as backup for the issuing of controlled documents.  Represent DCRM department on project teams.  Demonstrate expertise and ability to implement process mapping and LEAN Concepts in control documents.


Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Responsible to accurately process, store, manage, track, scan, organize and maintain records in accordance with records management procedures in a timely manner.
  • Ensures accuracy of records, manages placement of electronic records on SharePoint.
  • Ensures quality records are appropriately identified, filed, and archived in accordance with program requirements.
  • Accurately enters data into the document control and records management system in accordance with project standards.
  • Reviews new and revised documentation for suitability and conformance to standards including record retention.
  • Assigns record codes and identifies Quality Assurance records.
  • Supports the Document Control Specialist as needed, with controlled distribution; the posting of implementing documents and drawings; and end of day site-wide email notifications in accordance with procedures and standards.
  • Provides guidance to record custodians as needed regarding best practices for handling records.

 Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

 Preferred:  A.S. or B.S. from an accredited college or university.

 Experience:  1 year relevant experience  3 years related experience, preferred. 

 Computer Skills: Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC; Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel; and database entry.  Experience with SharePoint preferred . 

Other:  Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot; strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are essential; must be computer savvy; well-versed in Microsoft Office products; some knowledge of terminology in the engineering field is preferred; ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member; and perform clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment 

Usually an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
