Job Description
North Wind Infrastructure and Technology is looking for an experienced Mechanical engineer who is familiar with both design and design/build delivery methods for projects. As a mid/Sr level engineer, candidate will provide technical leadership/mentorship to junior engineers/designers and will review other mechanical engineers' work for accuracy, compliance and constructability. Must be able to estimate costs for design efforts and have experience with technical and cost proposals.  Candidate should be skilled at reviewing contractor submittals and respond to requests for information (RFI's), and will be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and coordination, (including inter-discipline coordination), of all designs, drawings, specifications, and other services.

•Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
•A minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in mechanical systems and equipment design/construction (HVAC, pumps, piping, etc.) 
•Demonstrated experience with evaluation of new and existing commercial and industrial facilities.
•Have practical experience with construction site visits and ability to produce field progress reports as needed. 
•Demonstrate experience with interdisciplinary coordination required for deliverables and contract document preparation.
•Experience in Construction Management/Scheduling and Cost-estimating.

Registered Professional Engineer in one or more states is desirable.
