Job Description
North Wind Group is seeking an Engineering Manager in Idaho Falls, ID.

The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and supervising North Wind’s team of engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems.  Supervise and lead engineers, scientists and technicians developing civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental designs and supporting design implementation.  Work closely with projects to ensure engineering resources are available to support project as required.  Hire, train, and mentor engineers and supporting staff.

Maintain and revise the North Wind Conduct of Engineering (COE) program.   Provide training and mentoring on COE and conduct management assessments of COE. Supports review of all engineering products to ensure quality and compliance with COE and foster ethical conduct and personal integrity throughout Engineering.  Resolves disputes relative interpretation of engineering requirements, specifications, assumptions, and calculations.
 
Support North Wind with the development of proposals, planning strategies, cost estimates, evaluation of alternatives, risk management, and cost-performance trade-offs.  Provides direction and leadership on technical and technology issues with North Wind company presidents in support of proposals.

Qualifications
BS in Engineering
10+ years of Engineering experience
5+ years of Engineering management experience
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Desired:
  
MS in Engineering or MBA
Professional Engineer License (PE). 
DOD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance
