Job Description
North Wind Construction is looking for experience Equipment Operators to work in Wallace, ID.

The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating one or several types of power construction equipment, such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, tractors, or front-end loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. May repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operation of heavy equipment such as a tractor, bulldozer, backhoe, or excavator, for the purposes of construction, demolition, or excavation in a high production industrial setting
  • Operation of haul trucks in a high production industrial setting
  • Responsible for routine maintenance or repairs
 
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Must have experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license 
  • Must have a valid CDL
  • Must have current 40-hour HAZWOPER 
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more years of experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
