Job Description
North Wind Infrastructure and Technology is currently seeking a Part-Time Alarm Monitor to support our project in Norfolk, VA.

Summary of Duties:

Monitor and execute site security checks on critical assets, restricted areas, communications facilities, and rear parking lot.  

Conduct security checks of areas identified as high value/mission critical/restricted areas at a minimum every four (4) hours to verify areas are properly secured.

Monitor the CCTVs .

Monitor Lenel Security system equipment for proper operation; check the monitoring station for current problems displayed; check the Digital Video Recorders (DVR) are on line and functioning. 

Notify personnel of any irregularities noted in the Lenel security system.

All controllable items, i.e. keys and badges shall be controlled and properly maintained, identified, and secured.

Keys and badges shall be inventoried and or accounted for at the beginning of each shift utilizing electronic log book entry identifying inventory complete and note any discrepancies. 

Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors and guests.

Control issue and maintain an electronic record of visits

Verify all personnel entering the facility 

Issue a temporary visitor’s badge to visitors 

Issue visitor badges 

Retrieve temporary issued visitor’s badges at the end of the day.
Must have experience with CCTVs and the Lenel system
Must have 3 years of related experience
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
Must be available to work on weekends and holidays
High School diploma required
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Final Secret Clearance Required
