Job Description
North Wind Infrastructure and Technology is currently seeking a Mid-Level Architect to join our team in Knoxville, TN! The Mid-Level Architect, under direct supervision, will perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing, and supporting construction. Individuals will be involved in new building designs, additions, alterations, restorations, and tenants improvements from the earliest stages to completion. The goal is to match client's needs and to produce sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs. 
Required Skills:

Produce detailed blueprints/drawings and make any necessary corrections
Develop and compile project specifications
Complete projects and assignments within budget and schedule
Ensure that all work meets specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
Make on site visits (as required) to check on project status and report on project
Cooperate and work with construction professionals
Assist in the project design control from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
Ability to work through and manage design changes at all stages of the project.

Desired Skills:

Ability to work alone and with others, self-motivator.
Requires minimal guidance and direction on small projects.
Understanding the client’s needs and assist in putting together feasibility reports and design proposals
Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact
Follow architectural trends and advancements

Special Skills, Training, Certs Required:

BS degree in Architecture
Min. 3-8 years of office experience
Min. 2 years AutoCAD experience
Revit experience preferred
Experience completing architecture design for Federal Agencies (USACE, DOE, DOD, DHS, etc.) preferred
LEED Certification or Experience preferred
