Job Description
North Wind Resource Consulting, LLC is seeking a qualified Data Analyst II with 1-5 years’ experience to support projects out of our Washington, D.C. office. Typical work tasks include updating data, teaching training courses, attending meetings, facilitating data requests, reporting on metrics, & communication with PM’s on progress.  Most of the work will be performed in the office with travel being 25% or less.  This opportunity affords excellent experience with diverse applications working in program management. 
 
Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master's preferred) in either Data Science, Business or Qualitative or Quantitative Research as well as knowledge, understanding, and experience using Microsoft Suite software to collect, convert, analyze, and report on project data. Master's degree can be substituted for experience. 

The selected individual will need advanced data analysis skills with the ability to understand the client’s basic needs and the ability to critically think about how best to represent the data.  In addition, strong data management capabilities with the ability to integrate information from the client into pre-defined systems, digest large amounts of data efficiently, interact with multiple agencies and strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.  Software skills require proficiency with Microsoft Suite products and include Word, Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint and basic database analysis capabilities. 

The candidate must demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to complete projects independently and/or in small teams in a responsible and timely manner. As well as, communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse team.

This position requires onsite support at the client site and access to the government computer network.  Completion of a successful Background Investigation (BI) is required and candidates with an active BI through DHS are preferred.
